Workshop: May 13, 3:00-4:30pm | Studio Presentation: May 13, 5:00pm

Dance Initiative welcomes Melissa Toogood to Carbondale on May 13 & 14. Toogood is a New York Dance and Bessie Performance Award winning performer and was a member of the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. She has taught Cunningham Technique since 2007 and is a 2013 & 2015 Merce Cunningham Fellow. Dance Magazine named her in their 25 to watch in 2014 and featured her in the inaugural episode of Behind the Curtain. Toogood will be teaching an All Levels Workshop from 3:00-4:30pm with an informal studio presentation of past works at 5:00pm at The Launchpad.
