Fundraiser party for The Launchpad October 7th

The Launchpad, home of Carbondale Arts and Dance Initiative, is excited to host a lively and interactive fundraiser we're calling "Art Heist" on Saturday evening, on October 7! Take your Vincenzo Perugia moment. How do you think the Mona Lisa became the world's most famous painting? Participants will have the chance to steal great artwork right off the walls of the R2 Gallery! But your fellow thieves can't be trusted because what you steal can be stolen back from you... This will no doubt be a thrilling evening of high jinks and thievery all in the name of love for this "space for the arts". In addition to the heist, guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, alluring entertainment, a speakeasy at Batch and a touch of 40s glamour.

The evening will begin at 5:30pm in the R2 Gallery with a Champagne Preview for our thieves. From 6 to 8pm enjoy a cocktail party with appetizers by Tiny Chef, live music, surprise entertainment and of course, the Art Heist. From 7:30 to 10pm, guests will transition across the alley to a speakeasy at Batch. A secret code will be required for entry. Once inside, guests can enjoy drinks, dinner by Mark Fischer and dancing.
