Become Part of the Carbondale Garden Squad + Join In the Rio Grande Volunteer Day

Become Part of the Carbondale Garden Squad + Join In the Rio Grande Volunteer Day on this Thursday, April 11th then this coming Sunday, April 14th!

Do you know that Carbondale has close to 94 public gardens? It’s a lot to take care of. Carbondale Arts oversees two of those special places, DeRail and Latino Folk Art Garden, along the Rio Grande Trail. There are many ways to get involved if you like getting your hands in the dirt. On April 11th Marble Distilling is hosting the Carbondale Garden Squad kick-off from 6-8 pm. The first drink is free. This event will go over the Squad game plan and how you can be part of keeping our gardens beautiful.

You can join the Carbondale Garden Squad, RFTA, Carbondale Arts and many lovers at the Rio Grande Volunteer Day on Sunday, April 14th. Meet at the RFTA Shop at 0766 Industry Way at 9 am or find us in DeRail Park and join in the fun. RFTA will be working on bike trail maintenance and we will be getting DeRail Park ready for blooming from 9-noon. Lunch will be provided. Bring garden gloves, tools, hats and water if you can. We will have tools available.
