Wilderness Workshop's Community Party and Sloan's Farewell

Wilderness Workshop's Community Party and Sloan's Farewell

September 21 5-9pm Sopris Park

This fall, join Wilderness Workshop in honoring our organization’s most valuable resource: YOU, our fabulous members. Help us celebrate and say goodbye to our outgoing Executive Director, Sloan Shoemaker, in Sopris Park in Carbondale on Friday, September 21 from 5-9 p.m. We’ll be offering FREE beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages by Sopris Liquor & Wine to all Wilderness Workshop members, as well as affordable meals from the Slow Groovin' BBQ food truck (veggie options available).

Entrance is free and open to the public, so feel free to invite guests. Kick back and play some lawn games and catch up with friends while enjoying the upbeat sounds of local band Sleepy Justice and The Ferlies. Then, as the sun disappears over the rocky horizon and the evening sets in, join us for a night of dancing and entertainment. If you donated in 2017 or 2018, we want to thank you for all your support. And of course, if you’d like to renew your membership, now’s as good a time as any.
