Opening Reception of Colorado Art Beat Film Series + Art Exhibition

Feb. 23, 6-8p.m. at Carbondale Art’s R2 Gallery in The Launchpad

Carbondale Arts presents "Colorado ArtBeat Film Series + Art Exhibition" featuring works by Gregory Block, Robert Burch, Linda Girvin, Joshua Goss, and Sara Ransford with an opening reception on Friday, Feb. 23 from 6 to 8p.m. at The Launchpad (76 S. 4th St, Carbondale). A special preview for gallery patrons and Carbondale Arts members will take place at 5:30p.m.

Colorado is home to many world class artists who don't always get the recognition and exposure that they deserve. "Colorado ArtBeat", produced by Chris and Heather Macdonald of FuseMedia, is a documentary film series and art exhibit that will introduce the 5 exceptional artists living and working in the state of Colorado.

This exhibition is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9a.m. to 5p.m. and Saturdays from 10a.m. to 2p.m. through March 23. There will be a full screening of the 55 minute film on Mar. 2, at 6:30p.m. For more information visit carbondalearts.com or call (970)963-1680.
