‘Homecoming’ a stunning installation artwork by Lara Whitley, has been selected for inclusion in Art of the State 2019!
This installation was first seen and exhibited in a solo show at the Carbondale Arts R2 Gallery in 2017.
The exhibition at the Arvada Center runs from January 17-March 31, 2019.
Art of the State 2019 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities is a state wide exhibition of Colorado artists, the call for entry garnered 566 entries with 1,555 individual works. The jurors worked diligently to select 154 works by 135 artists that are all outstanding examples of art in Colorado. We were very excited to see a wide range of new and familiar names among the applicant list, and look forward to working with you for this exhibition!
The value and success of the Arvada Center is built on the participation of the broad community of artists who work in the state.
